Mountain Gorillas 

Mountain gorillas are a truly incredible species of gorillas which you will be able to see in their own habitat in Uganda and Rwanda. There are other countries where you will be able to see the gorillas, but almost two thirds of the entire population of gorillas will be found in these two African nations. A trip to see these beasts will provide you with an unforgettable experience, and if you do decide to go gorilla trekking in Uganda or Rwanda, you will be sure to see the gorillas in the safest way possible.

Great Wildebeest Migration 

The Great Wildebeest Migration is the movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest and around 60,000 zebra, move in a huge loop around Kenya and Tanzania, in search of fresh wetlands. The animals take the same route each year, and this is the largest single migration of any animal that exists across the world. You can catch the migration in many different regions at different times of the year, but to witness the wildebeest arrive on the plains of the Masai Mara nature reserve in Kenya is an experience of a lifetime. This is a dangerous and arduous journey for the wildebeest, but one which makes for spectacular viewing for nature lovers.

Whale Watching in Alaska 

There are many places throughout the world where you can watch whales in their natural  habitat, leaping in and out of the water. Generally considered to be the best place to watch humpback whales is Alaska, and it is here that you should look to go if you are up for some live whale-watching. The whales in Alaska are best seen in August and throughout the summer months, and unlike some destinations, here in Alaska you are all but guaranteed to see some of these incredible beasts.

Tiger Safari in Nepal 

Tigers are one of the most elusive animals in the world, so heading out on a trek to find them is something which is sure to delight any nature lover. The best place to go for some tiger spotting is Nepal, where  there are a number of tours which you can take that will guide you to tiger-country, in the hope of spotting one of these truly magnificent animals.
